Data Engineer

We are looking for Data Engineer with excellent programming skills to join our team. We need a person who, as part of a team, can create highly scalable web apps that millions of users interact with daily. The ideal candidate has experience building real products for the web and should be able to present examples of their work.

As a Data Engineer, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Build scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and write custom adapter from a large number and variety of data sources
  • Maintain and optimize the performance of our data analytics infrastructure
  • Streamline data access and security to enable data scientists and analysts to easily access data
  • Write daily jobs based on requirements
  • Be flexible enough to work on many different types of tasks without a really strong set of requirements
  • Work closely with the team leader, clients and follow the guideline to accomplish assigned tasks

Your skills and experiences

Good candidates for Data Engineer position should have the following qualifications:

  • More than 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably in big data infrastructure
  • Experienced with data-lake, data warehouse, data mart
  • Have experience with a programming language (Python / Go / Javascript) for data processing and analysis.
  • Experience designing SQL tables, indexing, tuning queries, and optimizations across different functional environments
  • Have experience writing complex SQL queries and using BI tools & libraries, such as Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, Supserset, Kafka, Prefect etc.
  • Having experience with AWS services
  • Ability of communicating in English
