QC Engineer (LuminSign)

We are looking for a QC Engineer to join the Lumin team at DSV. As a QC Engineer, you will be part of a talented and committed community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

As a QC Engineer, you are responsible for:

◦ Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to understand project requirements and user stories.
◦ Design, develop, and execute comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases (both manual and potentially automated) for new features and existing functionalities of web applications.
◦ Perform various types of testing, including:
◦ Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing.
◦ Compatibility Testing (across different browsers and devices).
◦ Security Testing (basic understanding and execution).
◦ API Testing: Design and execute test cases for APIs (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman/SoapUI to ensure data integrity and business logic correctness.
◦ Identify, document, and track bugs/defects in a clear, concise, and detailed manner using bug tracking systems.
◦ Work closely with developers to reproduce, perform Root Cause Analysis, and confirm defect resolution.
◦ Actively participate in Agile meetings (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Review meetings).
◦ Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
◦ Assist in setting up and maintaining Test Environments.
◦ Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide testing progress Status Updates.

Your skills and experience

◦ 2–4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA), specifically focused on web-based applications.
◦ Solid and practical understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
◦ Proven experience in designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive Test Cases and Test Plans.
◦ Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
◦ Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
◦ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
◦ Practical experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) for testing REST endpoints. Experience in testing GraphQL APIs is a strong advantage.
◦ Basic knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience using browser developer tools for debugging/troubleshooting.
◦ Experience or strong familiarity with automated testing frameworks/tools for web applications (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
◦ Good written and verbal communication skills (in English) to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
