Product Owner (Lumin Experience)

About the Team

Lumin has grown into a broad ecosystem of document tools, and with that growth came fragmentation. The Experience Team was built to fix that, unifying the UI/UX across Lumin’s product ecosystem so users always feel like they’re in one coherent, well-designed product, regardless of what they’re trying to do. It’s not a simple design cleanup. It’s a structural shift in how we think about product experience at Lumin.

Your Role

As a Product Owner, you’ll be responsible for keeping the team pointed in the right direction, making sure we’re solving the right problems, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Two core problems we’re tackling right now: Users don’t know where to start. The interface reflects our internal product structure, not user intent. Someone arrives wanting to “sign and send this file” but the entry points aren’t clear enough to get them there quickly. Documents are fragmented across products. A single document often travels through multiple steps (convert, edit, sign), but each step lives in a separate space. Users lose context, lose track of versions, and have to navigate manually between products.

Responsibilities

Direction & Strategy

◦ Define and maintain a clear product direction for the team.
◦ Balance short-term wins with long-term structural improvements.
◦ Represent the team’s work to stakeholders and keep everyone aligned on priorities.

Discovery & Insight

◦ Stay close to users, data, and research.
◦ Synthesize inputs from multiple sources (analytics, user interviews, support signals).

Measurement

◦ Define what success looks like for each initiative.
◦ Track the right KPIs.

Cross-functional Leadership

◦ Partner closely with design, engineering, and stakeholders across the company.
◦ Keep the team unblocked and focused on what matters most.

Your skills and experience

◦ 3–5 years in a Product Owner or Project Manager role in a SaaS or B2C tech environment.
◦ Excellent written and spoken English: you communicate with clarity and conviction across teams and stakeholders.
◦ Strong sensibility for product design and UI/UX.
◦ Strong strategic thinking.
◦ Experience with document workflows, file management, or multi-step user journeys.

Nice to have

◦ Background in PDF, document editing, or e-signature products.
◦ Experience working on or with AI-powered products.
◦ Actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work: research, synthesis, analysis, or workflow automation.
◦ Experience with A/B testing or product experimentation.
