Business Development

We are seeking a Business Development who have a natural inclination for selling on a range of inbound and outbound as well as excel in a competitive environment to convert sales leads and increase customer growth. Through this role, you can expect a fun, challenging and unique opportunity to gain insight into DSV’s business units, services in a dynamic friendly flat modeling working environment. As an SR, you will drive demand for DSV’s products and services in a variety of ways, including lead generation, qualifying targeted leads or leads that have been generated by Marketing and scored using the Company’s automation dashboard; lead nurturing; event follow-up; and appointment setting. In addition, you will receive personalized sales coaching, allowing you the opportunity to cultivate your own sales approach.

Responsibilities

As our Business Development, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Qualify and close prospective new/existing clients by developing an understanding of the account’s business needs, issues and other relevant information.
  • Generate more sales qualified leads through referrals and connections through external networking Tech events.
  • Achieve selling objectives by leveraging product and industry knowledge to sell software solutions and professional services through cold calling and other direct lead generation activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on DSV’s services offerings.
  • Effectively partner with Business Development and Marketing to grow the sales pipeline and achieve/exceed total sales objectives.
  • Create and maintain weekly report to keep track lead qualification database and sales objectives.
  • Takes initiative to follow through on internal/external requests and commitments.
  • Recommends actions that are consistent with DSV’s values, objectives and goals.

Your skills and experience

Good candidate for Business Development position should have the following qualifications:

  • Results driven, customer focused, able to achieve annual sales quotas.
  • A strong sense of teamwork to work cooperatively as a team member and requires effective interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to qualify groups of prospects using telephone, email, social media and other technologies.
  • Professional communication skills – written, verbal, presentation in English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, accountable approach.
  • Good strategic and analytical skills.
  • Learn and maintain a deep understanding of solutions, clients, and internal outsourcing industry by participating in formal/informal training sessions and self-directed learning.
